The Cohen Clinic in Denver celebrated its first anniversary at the local Run As One event. The clinic team of about 30 participants, including CVN Ambassador and Medal of Honor Recipient Kyle White, joined 200 additional runners (PIC). Following the 5k to Mile High Stadium, the clinic held a celebratory brunch near the finish line. The festive atmosphere of the event included special remarks from White, and a thank you to Colorado Veterans Project president Byron Elliott, who presented the Cohen Clinic with a $10,000 donation to commemorate the clinic’s anniversary.

The Cohen Clinic in Philadelphia had staff from all different roles within the clinic participating including Outreach, Communications, Data Manager, Psychology Extern, and an Advisory Board member, plus their families. In addition to running/walking/rucking, the team also partnered with the organizers to provide race bags, complete with info on how to get connected to care.

Our Cohen Clinic in New York also attended a brunch after their local run and was able to provide a slew of one-on-one outreach efforts and distribute clinic materials. The San Antonio Cohen Clinic volunteered to supply/work the hydration stations, while the DC area Cohen Clinic took part in their local event which featured a presentation from retired US Army General David Petraeus.

The Fayetteville Cohen Clinic reports making “a great connection with the local chapter of Team RWB” after making it through a day of heavy rain and mud. Weather also impacted the Dallas Cohen Clinic team, forcing that event indoors.  The team from the newest location to open, the Tacoma Cohen Clinic, also ran through the rain in their local event with Wear Blue: Run to Remember. The Clarksville location took part in the event, held the weekend before in that part of the country. View photos from each event on our Facebook page.
