Marketing Coordinator

The Cohen Veterans Network seeks to hire an experienced, versatile communication and marketing professional to create and deploy many types of digital campaigns. In this role you will manage all of the network’s social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. This includes creating all original posts, fostering community engagement, and monitoring customer services functions. This also includes supporting the development of digital marketing campaigns for social media platforms and our online websites. The digital campaigns will be focused on mental health awareness days, patriotic holidays, and client testimonial stories to spur new client activity at the clinics, help to raise awareness and understanding of our brand, communicate our service offering and help build the brand of the Cohen Veterans Network throughout the country. Other special projects will include helping create and edit presentations for staff, support the national digital campaign Back to Better, create newsletters and email blasts, and support the Clinic Communicators

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the whole External Affairs team to provide support on any digital graphics needed. The candidate will need a strong background in the areas of marketing campaign development across many channels, creative creation and day to day use of digital social media platforms. The candidate would ideally have experience in website editing, preparing and printing marketing materials, events, and grassroots marketing.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Plan, create and post mini digital campaigns, inclusive of social media images and text, for CVN and to share with the Cohen Clinics around the country
  • Ability to follow and plan a campaign calendar for many digital platforms
  • Able to use targeting and boosting features on social media
  • Create graphics for marketing materials like presentations, web ads, print materials, and social media posts
  • Knowledge of KPI/tracking of marketing and advertisements
  • Organize, simplify and edit presentations in Powerpoint
  • Support creation of email newsletters, including text and images, to share the CVN message with a variety of audiences, including internal staff, Board of Directors and the general public
  • Design and order printing materials or branded merchandise with external vendors
  • Knowledge of digital tracking for marketing (i.e. read insights from Facebook or Twitter, CTR, impressions, engagement, etc.)
  • A skilled writer and editor that is able to catch design errors and typos
  • Support a data management component in Salesforce

Qualifications

  • 2+ years working in digital media
  • A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or communications
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and complete projects
  • Strong editing and attention to detail skills
  • Knowledge of marketing campaign development and tracking tactics
  • Collaboration skills as part of a nimble and fast-moving team
  • Experience with Photoshop or InDesign (Intermediate level)
  • Ability to create and edit Powerpoint presentations
  • Experience with WordPress or website editing platform recommended
  • Experience or working knowledge in veterans/military content and/ or the medical/mental health field is helpful
