Next Wave of CVN Expansion Taking Shape

The next three Steven A. Cohen Military Family clinics to open will be in Denver, CO, Killeen, TX, and Clarksville, TN. Each of these clinics are on track to open in early 2018 and will bring the network up to 10 locations serving veterans and military family members.

Our first seven Cohen Clinics recently surpassed the milestone of serving 4,000 clients since CVN publicly launched in April 2016, with some very promising results.

The partners for the next three clinics will each bring great value to the network:  the University of Colorado in Denver, Family Endeavors in Killeen, and Centerstone in Clarksville.

Cohen Veterans Network President & CEO Dr. Anthony Hassan is currently on a scouting mission looking at the next three clinic locations to follow these cities next year.  He has met with community leaders and potential clinic partners, while assessing the need for mental health services for post-9/11 veterans in St. Louis, San Diego, and Seattle.

“I wish you were open today. We have so many veterans in need of mental health care that we can’t meet the demand. We can’t wait to partner with your clinic through VA Choice,” said Niloo Afari, PhD, Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health, VA San Diego Healthcare System.
