Ava Weiss is the Senior Training Manager at Cohen Veterans Network (CVN) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As CVN’s Senior Training Manager, Ava supports the planning and implantation of the network-wide clinical training program and enjoys creating practical, effective, and responsive training opportunities for a diverse range of clinical staff and training needs. Ava has ample experience partnering with both trainers and trainees to develop tailored learning opportunities to enhance clinical practice in a wide array of topic areas. As a clinician and a trainer, Ava brings an ecological and person-centered perspective and enjoys both delving into nuance and focusing on the applied. Ava’s areas of interest include the assessment and evidence-based treatment of PTSD, suicide prevention, EBP implementation, culturally responsive treatment, and military culture.
