Responsible for managing and coordinating all clinical activities that advance the operations for the Cohen Veterans Clinic (CVN) of Cape Fear Valley Health System. Both the Corporate Director of Behavioral Health Care & Sleep Medicine and the Clinic Director interface with the CVN Central Office, and are the primary conduits of the CVN mission, policies, and communications to the clinic. The clinic director will be a full-time employee of the clinic, but may spend part of her/his time performing patient-facing clinical work. Coordinates all clinic management and personnel activities in order to ensure appropriate staffing and quality clinical services. Provides management support for the Corporate Director of Behavioral Health & Sleep Medicine, along with other directors in the service line. The Prescribing Provider functions as a member of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, focused on providing time-limited, evidence-based practices in an outpatient clinic that serves individual adults, couples families and children. Diagnoses in this population may include mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, transition and adjustment disorders, impulse control disorders, conduct and learning disorders, and mild developmental disorders. We do not provide long-term support for chronically mentally ill, moderate or severe neurodevelopmental or intellectual disorders.

The Case Manager is part of a multidisciplinary clinical team who serves as the bridge between clinical services and essential community resources. This individual facilitates direct referrals for housing, employment, healthcare, legal, educational, peer-support and all other essential community-based needs for clinic clients. The Case Manager manages referral partnerships by continuous engagement post-referral, ensuring the provision of quality care. This position assists the clinical team in understanding resources and needs within the clinic community. The Case Manager is estimated to support ~250 patients/year or 70 patients at a time (based on expected utilization levels).

The Director of Online and Social Media Giving will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategic online and social media fundraising campaigns. The Director will work with the External Affairs and Advancement teams to develop a master strategy to convert existing and new website and social media audiences to donors and newsletter subscribers, and to build a significant monthly giving program. The Director will be responsible for developing the strategy for the online giving program and the day-to-day implementation of the program at both the Network and clinic level.

The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluation and on-going treatment, ensure accuracy of diagnosis and appropriate pharmacological intervention, monitor for medication side effects, support appropriate multi-disciplinary interventions and maintain the electronic medical record. The psychiatric nurse practitioner will also perform all of these tasks under the supervision of a licensed physician and assures appropriate documentation of supervision in compliance with State regulations.
