The CVN Fellow will provide evidence-based treatment to veterans, particularly those who served in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and their families. The Fellow will gain training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within the first 6 months of employment and should be skilled at offering treatment in a measurement-based, time-limited treatment environment. The Fellow must have background and training in utilizing evidence-based interventions in the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and adjustment disorders. Qualified candidates will be proficient in providing individual, couples, and family therapy, with an emphasis on delivering evidence-based care. Master’s degree from an accredited university is preferred. Credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, LMFT Associate, or LMSW at time of hire with the intent to gather licensure hours under an internally appointed Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor required.

The Intake Coordinator is the point of contact for potential clients for the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic.  This position is responsible for managing and executing referral screening with potential clients both telephonically and in-person, with focus being on post 9/11 veterans and their families in the community. The Intake Coordinator will additionally administer and complete appropriate initial paperwork, psychometric screeners, and health record documentation to support clinical staff for ongoing treatment of the client.  The intake coordinator will work with a multi-disciplinary team of clinic staff for case assignments, consultations and care coordination.

Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone in Fayetteville, North Carolina with primary responsibility as lead administrator of the clinic. The Clinic Director is responsible for directing, managing, and planning for the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic in El Paso, TX. This clinic provides evidenced based interventions to Veterans, their family members, Active Duty and their family members. The Clinic Director will assist in the development of staff trainings and the development of resources to provide best practice and evidence-based treatment to clientele. The Clinic Director will be responsible for providing supervision for a team of clinicians, case managers, outreach and administrative staff and will be responsible for performance improvement activities. The Clinic Director will participate in activities during and in preparation for all accreditation, licensing, or other surveys. This position also oversees the budget, insurance billing and credentialing for all providers. The Clinic Director must have an understanding of PTSD and issues related to members of the Military and their family members. This position will be a community spokesperson for the clinic at a local, state, and national level.
