How We Work
All information about you and your family members is completely confidential and is collected, protected, and stored according to standards set by federal law. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Defense, and other public, private, or government entities do not have access to identifying information about anyone who is treated at Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics.
Our skilled clinicians and staff have been trained to work specifically with you and your family members, and many are veterans themselves. Care is always delivered in a warm, welcoming environment inside one of our clinics or direct to you in the comfort of your own home via telehealth. We pride ourselves on building the trusted and confidential relationships necessary to provide excellent, personalized care.
Our clinics take a holistic approach to treatment. Care is geared to your specific needs as determined by highly-trained clinicians. We offer client-centered therapy for a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, adjustment issues, anger, grief and loss, family issues, transition challenges, relationship problems, and children’s behavioral problems. We will also work to help you solve your other needs, such as finances, housing, and food insecurity. Our care encompasses therapy options that are the latest, best practices available based on research.
