Public Webinar: Supporting Military Children

On February 8th CVN hosted a webinar open to those in the field of military mental health. Children of military service members and veterans live a unique lifestyle compared to their civilian peers. Join us for this virtual presentation to learn about their strengths, some of the challenges they may face, and how you can best support them. During this presentation, you will learn fifteen things they want you to know, learn from personal stories, and discover resources available for those who need support, such as military and veteran kids in caregiving roles. Watch the entire webinar below:

Bio: Jenna Pryor serves as the Vice President of Implementation, Learning & Evaluation at PsychArmor. In this role, Jenna leads the implementation and evaluation of PsychArmor’s educational programs and training on military culture. Jenna currently holds a Master’s degree in Social Work, concentrating in social policy and evaluation, from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University. Jenna is also the daughter of an active duty United States Marine and knows firsthand the challenges and strengths associated with the military-connected community.
