Guaranteed Confidentiality

All information about you and your family members is completely confidential and is collected, protected, and stored according to standards set by federal law. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Defense, and other public, private, or government entities do not have access to identifying information about anyone who is treated at Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics. 

Genuine Care

Our skilled clinicians and staff have been trained to work specifically with you and your family members, and many are veterans themselves. Care is always delivered in a warm, welcoming environment inside one of our clinics or direct to you in the comfort of your own home via telehealth. We pride ourselves on building the trusted and confidential relationships necessary to provide excellent, personalized care. 

 

Holistic Approach

Our clinics take a holistic approach to treatment. Care is geared to your specific needs as determined by highly-trained clinicians. We offer client-centered therapy for a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, adjustment issues, anger, grief and loss, family issues, transition challenges, relationship problems, and children’s behavioral problems.  We will also work to help you solve your other needs, such as finances, housing, and food insecurity. Our care encompasses therapy options that are the latest, best practices available based on research. 

What We Treat

Cohen Veteran Network clinics treat a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment issues, anger, grief and loss, transition challenges, and other issues you may be facing. We also offer marriage counseling, relationship counseling and help with children’s behavioral issues. Clinics also provide case management services to help connect you or your family members to additional support like housing programs, long-term care, and acute or emergency care, as necessary.

What to Expect

You deserve to be healthy and happy, and we are here to support you. When you call or visit a Cohen Clinic, a trained professional will assess your specific needs. We offer targeted interventions that can positively impact your long-term psychological well-being. At our outpatient clinics, we use evidence-based treatments to provide high-quality, accessible, and integrated mental health care. Our case management services help connect you and your family members to long-term, acute, or emergency care, as needed. 

We also provide support and referrals for related needs, including unemployment, housing, finance, and education. In-home services, telehealth, and childcare are offered on a clinic-by-clinic basis. Watch this video for more on the CVN client journey:

Get Started

If you are in crisis, our Cohen Clinics will see you immediately. Otherwise, we will make every effort to offer a timely appointment based on clinician availability. Ninety-four percent of our clients (those who responded to our Client Experience surveys) report they were able to obtain their first appointment as soon as they wanted it.

Know Your Options

Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics provide confidential therapy services to post-9/11 veterans, active duty, family members and loved ones. Our mission is to help veterans and their families through the challenges of transitioning from active military service back to civilian life, and beyond.

In Person Therapy

Our Cohen Military Family Clinics provide specialized therapy for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other transitional challenges. We also provide marriage counseling, relationship counseling and help with children’s behavioral issues to support the entire military family.

Telehealth

CVN Telehealth is confidential, face-to-face video therapy. The same high-quality care available at a Cohen Clinic is also available via a computer, tablet or phone.

Eligibility

Call A Clinic

POST-9/11 VETERANS including those from the National Guard/Reserves, regardless of occupational specialty, discharge status, or service length.

SERVICE MEMBERS of all branches including the National Guard/Reserves, regardless of activation status. *Active Duty need TRICARE referral.

MILITARY FAMILY MEMBERS of post-9/11 veterans and service members, including spouse or partner, children, parents, siblings, caregivers, and families of choice.

All sexual orientations/genders welcome.
