June is Pride Month! At CVN, we take PRIDE in caring for LGBTQ+ veterans and those they love. We proudly serve military family members, as defined by the veteran! This includes same sex partners and spouses, and families of choice.
Our care is confidential. Even if you have not shared your sexual orientation and gender identity with family or friends, it is always safe to share this information with your CVN clinicians. Additionally, our Cohen Clinics provide confidential, high-quality, and culturally competent care to post-9/11 veterans and military family members of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
At CVN we are aware that LGBTQ+ veterans may have faced discrimination, stigma, or other challenges. At our clinics, you’re welcome as you are. It is safe to share your preferred pronouns, gender identity, and sexual orientation with your Cohen Clinic clinicians. Join CVN in this conversation on social media using #PrideMonth.
